Tell Me What You Think !

Here is something from an ex-student which was mailed to me this morning. Just thought I’d reproduce it ( with permission given of course) for the community members’ reading. I have not changed anything—so this is authentic, minor mistakes and all !
( In French, 'homme' is a 'man', and 'fille' is a 'girl'. )

“15th February 2009

While lovers were still in cloud 9 after an unforgettable romantic evening, "Fille" finally walked her way to one of the restaurant in KLCC. Held with her were 2 DVDs which she borrowed from "Homme", photos of "Homme" whom lend her his DVDs and a 3 pages letter written by "Fille" sealed in a metallic blue paper bag. "Homme's" name was crafted on a small card tag and tied to the paper bag with a blue ribbon.

This will be "Fille's" last walk to the restaurant where she knew "Homme" for the first time. "Fille" whispered to herself, " Bismillahirahmanirahim, whether this act is wise or self-fish, I should never regret."

"Fille" stood in front of the restaurant with a mixed-up feeling but still, she managed to retain her composure. She took her final glance at the cosy dining area as she waited for the host to attend to her. A waiter walked towards her and gave a courteous smile. Worried that 'homme' would notice her presence, she immediately passed the paper bag to the waiter and told him to pass to the designated recipient.

Quickly, "Fille" walked away from the restaurant and headed to the underground train station. Suddenly, she felt tears on her eyes. "Oh, no. Not now! I can't let these tears put me in the state of embarassment. I'm at the public. Goash! " Luckily, she manage to control them from dropping down her cheaks by uttering the 'zikir' which have always sooth her mind.

As "Fille' sat on the bench, she heard the melody of 'Les Feuilles Mortes' whispering to her ears. It was not just a chanson.. It was a song which coincidently played on "Fille's" notebook while she was writting to "Homme". It was also a song that represent her last say to 'Homme".

"Aurevoir mon amor. "Fille" wants to move on....................."

Autumn Leaves

This is a song which resembles to us.
You, you loved me and I loved you
And we lived both together,
You who loved me, me who loved you..
But the life separate those which love themselves,
All softly, without making noise
And the sea erases on the sand
The Steps of divided lovers. “
